Party Season Sewing *McCalls 7683 Dress*

Hello Lovely friends! It is that time of year again with the carol singing, family gathering and party going. Perfect time to whip up some beautiful party dresses and church outfits. This year the first one I made for a party is the McCalls 7683 which I bought as soon as it came out. I love the one shoulder look. I used a knit fabric with a lovely floral print and used a pleated festive fabric for the one shoulder overlay. This was so simple to make and I learned a great new technique for creating the slit in the skirt.

I paired the dress with some silver pumps I have had for a while, jazzed the look up great!

I hope you have a love next few days and may the holidays bring you much joy and love.
